Formerly a film and video editor in New York and Los Angeles, Susan Forker began making jewelry in 2008 as a way to continue her visual storytelling. A longtime art and book lover, she began to develop ways to repurpose and wear interesting graphics and papers from damaged books and antique ephemera.

“My inspiration comes from unconventional sources, but I also like to re-imagine the familiar. I’m drawn to things that have a history and a story. The success of my work is all about the connection that people make with each piece, the memory that’s sparked and how it speaks to them.”

Currently, Susan lives in an old stone farmhouse in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with her family where they’ve recently renovated a 150 year old barn.
